British romantic comedy. Californian self-help gurus Randy Bush (Michael Brandon) and Candy Connor (Leigh Zimmerman) arrive in London to publicise their new book, which professes to give singletons a step-by-step guide to finding true love in only three days. As a publicity stunt for the book, Randy and Candy undertake to use the rules laid down in their book to find soulmates for three lonely Londoners - but things don't quite go as they had planned.

This film is brilliant. Classic Love chick comedy for a night in with your partner or even a girlie night!!!! British films at there very best. One to watch

I bought this DVD because the reviews here mentioned it as being similar to 'Love Actually', 'Bridget Jones' and 'Four weddings and a funeral'. 'Are you ready for love' is absolutely nothing like any of these great films.
This script lacks wit, and the (so-called) humour of the film is based on the viewer finding the characters funny because they are "losers". The main characters are one-dimensional caricatures that have no redeeming complexities.
The predictable course of the plot adds to the slow feeling of the film and by the time the titles started I'd been wanting to press the stop button for about an hour.

The spoof documentary feel of this film seems to leave it feeling a little flat. An OK film to watch on a wet afternoon.

The film had a story line, But ?

Pretty terrible but harmless fun on a lazy afternoon
If you are looking to veg out on the sofa and switch off to something easy and fun then this is great. Don't expect anything more though!

"Are You Ready for Love" is fabulous!
What a wonderful romantic comedy. such a change from the usual cliched rubbish. We both enjoyed it immensely. All we can say is - see this beautiful film!
