An awesome, pumping powerhouse of a CD. Right from the moment where I first heard track one's Baz Luhrmann-esque intro segue into track two's hypnotic vocal hook, I felt glad about the chance I'd taken on this CD. Along with the Kings of Leon, it's been the perfect soundtrack to a great summer (but hey, if you're reading this in December then don't let that stop you buying it and sticking it on repeat at your New Year's Eve Party). Buy this album !

Caught a portion of this album playing on the radio the other day, and chose to purchase. Its certainly not what comes to mind when I think of jazz... perhaps it even isn't, I'm not a music expert. It just feels like one of those CD's where the musicians attempt to do something different, and it turns out quite well. To me the music flows beautifully, there is a solid beat, and the music is quite lively. Really neat combination... worth checking out imo :)
