Format: Paperback
This is a fantastic book.
A totally original way at looking at a life cycle, without the slightest hint of the feyness all too often introduced when asking children to imagine themselves as something from nature.
As an adult who thought herself not totally unknowledgeable about natural history, I learned a lot too.
The illustrations were appealing and multi-cultural in an unforced way.

An excellent book, which described the life cycle of the ladybird clearly and concisely, then went on to show why 'you' are not a ladybird. My year 2 class enjoyed it and returned to it several times during free reading.
