Great album but not hardcore Arctic Monkeys
I really liked the first two albums by this band. Crazy guitar riffs, deranged drum solos, witty lyrics that you could relate to, even though they were by a 19 year old guy from...

Up There With Ray, Paul and Noel
At 51, I am surely not the type of listener the Arctic Monkeys were aiming for. But, having heard Johnnie Walker play the track "Mardy Bum" and being wowed by it, I got a young...

Great album. Get it on vinyl while you can.
I love this album! You will too. Probably. If you're a fan I suggest getting the vinyl version while you can, as the inner sleeve art is pretty cool, it sounds great, and...

Truly awesome...
Seriously, I was nearly put off buying this album when reading some of the earlier reviews posted. Many people had the opinion that the "new sound" of this album was awful...

Not Sealed
This CD was listed as new but when it arrived it wasn't sealed. Therefore, for all I know it could have been used. Quite disappointing as it was a present for someone.

The Monkeys have evolved
The UK music press has created and destroyed so many bands over the years, that it's always best to take a "don't-believe-the-hype" approach.

Under-rated
This album is completely under-rated and has been very unfairly criticised. It may take a couple more plays than the previous two did before the songs stand out, but once they do...

Sticking to their guns
"Bring on the backlash!" demands front Monkey Alex Turner in the comeback single from a band that never went away in the first place.

Brilliant!
This is the first song to be made by the monkeys since their debut album and it is a cracker! This should have been on the album and is fantastic live.

Some great B-sides along with one of the best songs on the second album
The B-sides mean this single is definitely worth buying. The pair-up with Richard Hawley on "Bad Woman" is great, as is "Death Ramps", but "Nettles" is awesome, with Alex Turner...

Good B-sides
Once again worth buying the Arctic Monkeys single for the b-sides. The Blond O Sonic Shimmer Trap is great, could have been a Humbug cast off (as a previous reviewer pointed out)...

Not a singles man myself but
Dont normally buy singles but thought I would get this one as it has three new tracks on instead of the usual one song or rehashes,re-mixes etc.
