Arctic Cooling - Graphic Card Heatsink + Fans - Accelero XTREME Plus

Had to write a review for this as the results are excellent, I have a stock palit gtx 580 card in my new build and it normal idles at around 40-45 deg, and hits upto 75-80 under load. But with this attached it idles at 27-29 deg and at load hits about 55-60 deg, seriously this is such a major improvement over the stock cooler that i ran more tests with different temp software as i was not sure i was seeing it right.

A few points, if you don't intend to OC you card then stick with the stock cooler as these cards are designed to run upto 80 deg so you will be fine. But if you intend to OC your card a little this is a very handy bit of kit to keep that GPU temp down.

Installation requires a seperate kit that you have to buy as well it does not come with the cooler, the kit has all the ram heatsinks and voltage reg heat sinks and also the correct SKT plate for your type of card, it includes the glue so its a simple case of removing the stock cooler from the graphics card and cleaning all the paste of. Then glue the heatsinks on and then fit the cooler its self, simple.

Not only is it about 30-40% more efficient than the stock cooler it is alot quieter with its 3 fans.

Excellent bit of kit, make sure you get the right one for your card and also the right kit.

This cooler is insane. Its really quiet yet is 10 times better than stock cooling. obviously watercooling is better but this little baby is amazing considering its prize (same prize as a water block).

this cooler does not fit my new pc and gainward gtx 560 ti card so i'm getting the twin turbo 2 version which will fit with my own slight custom mod. i'm sure this cooler would of been excellent. trying to return this as of now. do a thorough research on sizing and fitment before purchasing this item or you will make the mistake i did.
