Arcon 3D Interior Designer (PC)I have been looking for a home designer package for a long time now so I was delighted when I found this one. It has everything that you need to design you own house complete with walk throughs so that you can see what you have designed. As for ease of use it could not be easier.The instructions are excellent and so easy to use. All things taken into account an excellent product.I wish I could have found it sooner.

I have tried many different home design software titles and this one is one of the better ones if all you want to create is basic home designs (which of course is what its aim is). It does tho lack some very important tools that i was looking for. It does not have any basic cad tools so you cant add your own details to the floorplan layouts.
This may not be important to many users but it was for me as i wanted to use it to create plumbing and electrical plans with pipe runs and detailed dimensions and positions. I was supprised it lacked these tools and although its never going to create drawings for planning permission for example many other brands have these tools included. I already have Chief Architect home designer suite 9 and have just brought Chief Architect home designer pro 10 and this brand does have these tools and in my opinion is much better and in a different class then this software so i would advise to look at that first.

I found this product awful to use.It is counter intuitive, It has very erratic mouse control. I had great difficulty keeping the walls straight.Also to mark out the roof lines was very difficult. It just isn't up to the job in my opinion. I will be sending this back and investing in a more comprehensive product.

This product is rubbish, jittery mouse movement, the walls wont line up and keep changing length, will not print-out on one single A4, no elevation view. Read more

Christmas present chosen by my 14 year old grandson after looking at a rival product.He has used it a lot & tells me it is brilliant & awesome.
