As a beginner I was looking for a good manual to provide informations from ground up. I found this book clear and helpful, and I think it will be still interesting for me in the future, when I will achieve a better level in archery and I will need to go back to it and learn more. Good value for money.

The book in question is perfect for beginners. We have had some professional certificated training training required in order to join a club which we now have done.and the contence mirrors 85% of the instructions received. The described practical indications are excellent and we would recommend this book without fail for continued help in shooting within a club.

Good basic book explaining the essentials in stance, bow handeling and marksmanship +, helped this beginner a lot and i would reccomend it for anyone who has , or is learning the sport on their own.

This is an excellent first book on the basics of archery which includes precisely what the title states.
It provides a simple and effective process for the beginner to learn to shoot an arrow with proper
form from each of the basic types of bows, the longbow, recurve, or compound bow.
It includes the design of indoor and outdoor ranges, how to hold, draw and release an arrow properly,
and provides a good guide to troubleshooting problems with aiming.
It provides basic descriptions of archery equipment, bows, arrows and accessories and how to select
them for individual tastes and physical requirements.
It describes methods of improving accuracy and a good explanation of how to develop the best
use of the archers physical structure to maximize consistent accuracy and skill.
A worthwhile fundamental investment for the beginning archer.
