Fun:
Out of all the fighters i have, this is the one i keep returning to, fast fluid and over 500 charecter combinations. buy it.

I've had this game for a while now since I got a Japanese copy at the beginning of the year, and I am very happy to see that AH has finally made it to Europe.
This is a beautiful game. The closest thing I can compare it to is Guilty Gear. Why Guilty Gear and not Blazblue? Well, it does look like it could be a PS2 game... That doesn't mean it looks bad, it just means if you're expecting amazing crisp sprites like in Blazblue, that isn't quite what you're gonna get here. In fact it looks like the sprites were pretty much taken directly from AH2, but I must assure you, it still does look beautiful. Anyone that did play AH2 would know that is was an awful console port. It was slow and laggy and the PS2 just was incapable of handling the game, but now on the PS3/360, AH3 runs like a dream.
Anyway, on to the game.
It has a great cast of all female anime characters and just like any fighting game of the genre has its own cool gimmicks. In AH that gimmick is the option to choose an arcana assist for your character to help in battle. This is really awesome, as it gives you the oppurtunity to create all sorts of amazing combos and and mix ups using all types of different arcana assists. This means even though you could be choosing the same character all the time, you could be constantly altering your play style by choosing different arcana assists with that character.
Like Street Fighter has focus cancels, Blazblue has rapid cancels and Guilty Gear has Roman cancels, Arcana Heart has the homing cancel system to cancel out moves and launch awesome combos at your opponent.
As for game modes, it has all the normal stuff you'd expect. Story, Versus, Gallery (You can just view all the character endings and link animations here) training and online modes. It was a shame it didn't have a trial mode where you can learn character combos, but oh well. It just means you'll have to figure them out for yourself in training.
So, if you're a fan of fighting games other than just the mainstream ones such as Street Fighter, you really should give this a shot. Even if you just like anime and manga you should enjoy this game as the characters are really original and cool.

Fun:
I'm a fan of most fighting games. I really enjoy Street Fighter and Tekken but the game I feel is the most enjoyable is actually Arcana Heart 3. The combos are great, the overall package feels very complete and well put together.
Very fluid, great soundtrack, memorable characters, a unique boss fight and it's also fun to play online.
P.S I think the idea of being able to mix and match 23 different characters with 23 different summon spirits is a great idea because it also adds lots of variety to how you choose to fight.

Anime girls can kick ass this game proves it!
