I have owned more than one of this dictionary. I first got one when I was studying Arabic in college. Since then, I have not seen a comparable dictionary. I've found that I can find almost any word I'm looking for in this dictionary unlike other Arabic-English dictionaries I own.

Good Arabic-English dictionaries are hard to find. I've searched for for years. They are usually either too small or not very clear. This one is a welcome exception. I didn't know there was an English version of the famous German original.
Browsing through it,I realized how comprehensive it is and I am now sure that I'll be able to advance with my course confidently. I'm glad I bought it!!

content surely perfect! but why the unnecessary paper? the book has huge margines that do not add anything but weight to this already heavy book... If anyone wants to carry this book around, I would suggest to go for the smaller version (the one I actually expected when I ordered this one).
