Lovely book but ... 10 Sep 2010

very little actual information and the photographs, although lovely, are of a limited number of animals and doesn't really show actual differences in the sub-breeds. Perhaps nit picking, but I've a number of autobiographical books and I would have liked this book to add to my knowledge rather than just a series of pretty pictures.

if you love horses and the arabian egyptian horse this IS the book to buy and enjoy for a lifetime ,the photography is great 27 May 2010

a book to read and WATCH for a lifetime,the fantastic, artistic photography is just out of this world.Nasr Marie is not only a man with a camera...he is a real guy with sensitive eyes towards horses,no wonder ,he is one of the well known ARABIAN EGYPTIAN HORSE breeders,the love relationship between man & horse is documented with love and fine photo prints that will never leave your mind even if you think you do not like horses.

A beautiful book, a perfect gift for horse lovers 17 Feb 2012

This book is absolutely gorgeous! If you know someone who loves horses, as I do, then I am sure they will love this book. I am not a horse fan myself, but the photographs are simply stunning and I totally enjoyed looking through them. There is also a lot to read, but primarily this is a photographic book with pages to be turned slowly, in a quiet moment, with a cup of tea.
