A story for 8 to 12 year olds following the adventures of Arabella Parker and her friends as they battle to save their school from being knocked down by developers who want to replace it with a giant superstore. This is the first in the Arabella Parker series with more books due next year.
About the Author
Ray Murray, born in London, was creative director of a large American advertising company, working in both their UK and New York offices where he won numerous awards for his creative TV advertising, and saw his work exhibited and acclaimed in London, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Tokyo. Arabella Parker and the Primrose School Revolt is his first children's book. A second Arabella book is due out in spring 2012. Happily married, he lives in Burford, Oxfordshire.

As a retired English teacher of 8/9 year olds I can't praise this book enough. Arabella is a funloving and totally credible character,despite her magic powers.The book is a wonderful mixture of colourful,contrasting characters provided by Arabella's frightful parents,her whimsical,wacky aunt and her school friends.I really hope that Arabella will continue to delight us again in the very near future.

This is the first in the Arabella Parker series and it has a real charm. All the characters are here - Arabella and her special power, her ghastly parents, her eccentric great aunt, school buddies, and more.

Arabella Parker and the Primrose School Revolt is a brilliant read. It is amusing from beginning to end and I loved every chapter. A super book which could be enjoyed by anyone. Cannot wait to find out what Arabella gets up to next!

Ray Murray's imagination has created an entertaing and fascinating read. He has created an interesting insight into a child's mind. We look forward to the next volume.

Great read
This book is great fun and very enjoyable to read. It has superb characters - especially Arabella, who is instantly lovable. A lovely read for both adults and children.
