  • The industry standard for maximum strength repairs to wet suits, dry suits and all watersports products
  • Flexible urethane formula waterproofs, seals and protects against abrasion. Hundreds of watersports and household uses
  • When applied, Aquasure cures by reacting with humidity in the air. It doesn't 'dry' the way other glues do. It changes from a thick liquid to a thick, flexible, elastic rubber.
  • Once cured, it's permanent. The repair will generally last the life of the item.

It is a little tricky to use at first because it comes out in a single firm bead that does not spread by itself and which is not always easy to get smooth along a jagged or lengthy tear around seams, but with a bit of practice and doing it in stages (so patience too: to let it dry flat to avoid runs and then continue)you can get excellent results.

I used it on both sleeves of my wetsuit that had come apart at the seams over use. I did the repairs on the outside (because it was difficult to access the tears on the inside) and this made the repair look a bit messy. Aquasure dries as a clear plastic veneer integrated into the wetsuit itself, but this was partly due to my newness of using it, particularly on the sleeve where I first started: there are a few drips and runs because I worked too fast and tried to do too much at once.

The product itself is excellent. It cures overnight and the next morning you have a completely flexible, very strong and waterproof seal. Despite the fact that you can now clearly see the repair, I am pleased I did it on the outside this time because I wonder if it might rub a bit if on the inside at the seam joins where I may have used too much Aquasure forming a small lump. Otherwise, for small repairs, I would use the sealant on the inside and probably see no sign at all of the repair (I used backing tape to temporarily hold the sleeves together from the inside while doing the repair and when I took it off there was hardly a sign of the repair)

The proof of quality of the product was that my wetsuit was pulled on and off many times during a recent diving trip and the seams and Aquasure remained in perfect condition.

This product is an exellent piece of kit.If you mask off the area apply evenly(and fairly liberaly) and coax it with the brush gently to cover the exposed area, it will find its own level on a flat surface.Remove masking tape before it drys (that cand be a little stickey) you'll have a seal that looks like liquid glass.

This is my second tube (first tube went solid after a few uses and being left in a drawer over the winter!) and it is the best tool for the job if you get a leak or tear in your fishing waders. You only need a drop, and it dries very quickly. Does exactly what you want it to so it gets 5 stars for being cheap and effective.

Great stuff - becomes the strongest part of the item you repair - and if you dont want it to go solid in the tube store it in the freezer

Having lost the receipt for my expensive Hunter wellington boots I could not return them so decided to try find a glue that would fill in the huge cracks (that appeared after only 3 months of dog walking wear) and that would be both waterproof and flexible. Although I have had to apply it twice as the first application itself cracked, I have now worn the boots several times and the repair seems to be keeping my socks dry in the many flooded walks I have done this week. As an aside I met another dog walker recently whose Hunter boots had also cracked in the same place (inside top of left foot) and wonder if this might be a common fault with them? Anyway this is the glue to save getting a wet sock!

The glue emerges from the tube like toothpaste. It gradually settles and then becomes like a pool of hot jelly that will run to any area that slopes. It cannot therefore be used for vertical repair. With hindsight i would have bought one of the products that cures more rapidly, even if it was sold as a lesser amount. The glue takes a lot of time to develope a skin, so you have to take care that air bubbles do not find a way through the underlying tear. Other than that, the glue makes a perfect repair which is clear as glass but very glossy.

This is the best Neoprene repair product i've used, a very effective way to fix wetsuits in a way that will last. It will, however, cure in the tube if you leave it for too long (not unexpectedly), so don't buy a large amount if you only need to make a few small repairs. Also, I've found that this is not particularly effective on dry-suits (not that this is advertised to do so, but I know many people have tried it).

Very impressed with the speed of delivery - very prompt!

This stuff is extremely sticky so handle with care. I bought it to try and repair a Goretex jacket. Nothing wrong with the Goretex but the taping on the seams was falling off after putting through the wash. Not had a chance to test out the long term effectiveness of the adhesive with rain or washing but it certainly stuck well initially, to everything.
