Product Description for Aquaponics At Home

Have you ever wondered what aquaponics was all about? Is it viable for
your situation? This ebook is a good overview to help answer these
questions and more.

Aquaponics is the revolutionary science where plants are grown in water
instead of soil. This water also cultures fish. The wastes produced by the
farmed fish or other aquatic creatures supplies the nutrients for the plants,
and in turn purifies the water.

Aquaponics, when set up correctly, can, be self-sustaining and, be a healthy
source for both fish and plants.

Aquaponics At Home is a beginner's guide to this hobby. You are given the
fundamentals to this wonderful and exciting way to garden, including the
components you need, and ways to set up your own healthy aquaponic system that
provides safe, fresh, and delicious food all year round. Download your copy now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very informative tool! 3 Feb 2014

I was trying to find more information on Aquaponics and this book was the ideal choice. Basic, helpful information regarding Aquaponics including what it is, what you need to get started and what you can grow using this system. Sounds reasonable enough and now that I've read this I think I may try it out. The idea of fresh, organic vegetables never sounded so wonderful....definitely recommend if you're considering a way to grow your own vegetables and even fish.

5.0 out of 5 stars Growing fishes and roses at home!!! 11 Nov 2014

It is not my first time to grow fish at home. My brother loves to collect different variety of fish and I enjoy it while seeing them growing each day. I also enjoy feeding them and watch how happy baby fishes are when they get the chance to eat food. However, I did not know that I can also grow plants like herbs and roses in the fish tank. I would love to try it at home. I just need to wait for my brother to come home to start constructing the Aquaponic System at home. Good thing the book has an illustration to follow.

2.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother, Look at Wikipedia & Youtube 18 Feb 2014
By Jonathan W. Frame - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
While I appreciate regular folks making an effort to enter the world of publishing in this wonderful digital age, I don't think anyone should spend money on this book.

I chose Aquaponics at Home because of it's low price and nice pictures in the Look Inside option, but after reading half the book in about 15 minutes I realized the information in this book is way too basic. It's really just a basic introduction of aquaponics, unlike what the title suggests. This book gives no real guidelines on how to build an aquaponics system at home. The author, Mrs. Richards did provide links to websites and youtube to help the reader understand what she did not provide in her book; however, I am uncertain how long those links will stay relevant and cannot consider them part of the book.

In all honesty, this is not a book but a basic report on aquaponics that I would expect from a junior high student, but not as choice on the Amazon marketplace.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect book for starters! 4 Feb 2014

I love this so much! With this book, you will be able to easily set up your own aquaponic system at home. Richards describes in detail what you need to get started, how much it will cost, and what details you will need to concentrate on.
Before I read this book, I knew virtually nothing about this method of growing plants and fish at home in a symbiotic setup. There are many benefits to aquaponics compared to conventional fish breeding or greenhouse setups. Richards explains in detail why aquaponic systems are more efficient and how long they have been used by human cultures. The book is kept short and relevant, which makes it a must-have for aspiring aquaponic hobbyists!

Comprehensive manual for beginners and I would guess intermediate Aquaponics. Great resource for people new to the idea as well as sound advice to get started and maintain a system. The book came in mint condition with solid packaging. Good seller.
