I bought this case a while ago and took it kayaking. The first couple of photos were excellent but the I noticed some blur occurring on one of them, which got increasingly worse. I had a look at the lens of the case and noticed it was scratched on the inside by the front of the camera lens. Aquapac suggested in their documentation that the best photos would be taken by holding the front of the camera lens against the lens of the case. Please DO NOT DO THIS!! It will damage the case beyond repair!
When I got back I contacted Aquapac who suggested sending the case to them for inspection. I have since received a replacement and Aquapac have been excellent. Five stars for them!
I have not used the new case as I would like to find a solution to prevent my lens from accidentally scratching the lens on the case again. It's difficult to keep the camera lens a fraction away from the lens of the case when sea kayaking.
Also, depending on what camera and lens you use it with, I would find it difficult to take in the moment photos. It takes a second or two to position the camera properly in the case and avoid taking photos of the inside of the case itself. I am also going to make a lens cap for the case to keep it dry and scratch free when not in use while kayaking. Obviously, this is an issue with every solution, even if you were to take the camera out on the water without a case..

Other than these issues however, and provided I find some solution to making sure the camera lens doesn't scratch the case, this is an excellent product which I would buy again. The quality of the photos was excellent without loss of focus, colour etc...
One suggestion; it would be useful to buy camera armour or tape the flash bracket to avoid damage as this is a soft case.

BROKE MY SLR 15 Aug 2011
Used this in the sea in Thailand. Noticed bubbles coming out and my 450D was absolutely ruined. Would recommend this product to no-one!!!

I bought one of these for a holiday in Turkey. My Nikon D7000 fitted well, despite being marginally larger than the specified size. The pack kept the camera dry BUT it is really difficult to operate. Zooming the lens is awkward and you have to do a series of little movements to extend the lens barrel because the lens portion of the pack isn't particularly flexible.

The buttons and dials on the camera are usable but only just. You have to get the pack and your fingers in just the right position with any of the rotary controls to get to where you want to.

Also, although I had no reason to doubt the watertightness of the pack, I never quite plucked up the courage to submerge the camera so the pack ended up protecting it from splashes rather than allowing underwater photography - but maybe that's just me.

In the end I've gone for an all weather submersible compact camera. I love my SLR; too much to risk it getting a soaking but not enough that I couldn't be happy using a different camera in wet conditions.
