Product Description

Product Description

Aquaflex is a simple, effective and natural way to strengthen pelvic floor muscles. Designed to help improve general pelvic health, restore bladder control and improve sexual response and satisfaction, Aquaflex offers the ideal solution for exercising your pelvic floor correctly with clinically proven results.

Expertly designed
Expertly designed to help stregthen the pelvic floor muscles

Quick and easy to use

The Aquaflex Pelvic Floor Exercise System has been specifically designed to improve the strength of your pelvic muscles quickly and easily. The Aquaflex cone is simply positioned in the vagina in the same way as a tampon. By inserting an Aquaflex cone into the vagina, your pelvic floor muscles automatically isolate and contract around it in order to hold it in place. It is this immediate reflex action that helps to tone the muscles and strengthen the pelvic floor.

Weighted cones
Weighted cones can be added in stages to suit your progress

Effective progress and lasting effects in just 12 weeks

The Aquaflex system consists of two cones and a set of four weights (5g, 10g and 2x 20g) so you can select the most suitable weight for your needs. As your pelvic floor muscles become stronger, more weights can be added. Start with the lightest weight and gradually increase the weights as your pelvic floor regains strength and control. The length of time that the cones are in place can also be extended, up to 20 minutes per day. Used daily for 20 minutes, improvements can be expected in just 12 weeks.

Safe and natural

Aquaflex is a safe and natural method for women to take control of their pelvic health. The Aquaflex Pelvic Floor Exercise System can help combat bladder weakness and embarrassing wind, restore and improve pelvic control, enhance sexual satisfaction and improve general pelvic health. So whether you suffer from stress incontinence or you’re looking for an effective way to improve sexual response, the Aquaflex system is expertly designed to increase your control and help you regain your confidence.

Clinically proven results

Incorporating weight resistance into the ‘squeeze, lift and release’ regime of pelvic floor exercises can vastly improve efficiency, giving better results. The Aquaflex system is clinically proven, with tests showing that 70 per cent of cases of stress incontinence can be cured or improved by the use of weighted vaginal cones.

Aquaflex
A natural and effective way to achieve clinically-proven results

I have been dutifully doing my daily Kegel exercises for the past 19 years since the birth of my second child, with no discernible impact on the stress incontinence which the birth had caused. Stupidly, being one of the many women who are too embarrassed to say anything to the doctor about the problem, I had thought I was just one of the women that Kegel exercises don't help. It was frustrating as I am very active (running, cycling and playing tennis) and running in particular caused problems. However, searching on the internet recently I came across the reference to the TV program Embarrassing Bodies which had found that these 'cones' (they're more like rockets than cones) were the most effective aid in curing stress incontinence.

When I started two weeks ago, I could not hold the larger cone without any weights for more than a couple of minutes. Which was kind of reassuring because it meant I did have lots of room for improvement (to the smaller cone with 55g) and I guess also demonstrates the ineffectiveness of Kegel exercises, at least in my case. Since then I have progressed to holding the cone with 5g, 10g and now 15g of weights for twenty minutes and I am starting to notice a difference in my everyday life. While I have a long way to go, I am very optimistic that this is going to solve my difficulties.

They are very easy to use and the instruction booklet provided all the necessary information. Twenty minutes a day is a very small price to achieve a stronger pelvic floor and I would recommend them to anyone who is already a sufferer with stress incontinence or who wants to protect themselves from problems later in life. A fantastic product!

Wasn't sure that these would work, but they do. I used too much weight the first time and I couldn't sleep, my pelvic floor was aching so much. Would recommend them.

I really didn't know what to expect when I ordered the system, but trusted the reviews already written by other users. I have tried doing normal pelvic floor exercises, clenching my pelvic muscles etc, but I found this gave me regular cystitis and I found the results poor but this system has helped me really achieve a lot stronger pelvic floor..I used it every day for 8 weeks as recommended. I found it easy to use 1st thing in the morning when getting ready for work, 20 mins soon flew by, and within 3 weeks I started to notice a difference. I still use it 2 or 3 times a week to keep 'in shape'! it has helped give me the confidence I needed.

Ugh anyone needing these I feel for you, since the birth of my first son I have been plagued with weak pelvic floor related problems that have nearly ruined my life. I have tried every gadget and gismo and had months & months of physio and have showed my lady areas to many many professionals. My last and final straw was an appointment for Uro-dynamics to go for surgery to correct my problems. The thought of these invasive and embarrassing tests made me cry, so much and the fact that I am only 30 and haven't finished my family yet, made me cancel my appointment, putting surgery on hold for a few more years and I went back to my physio hoping she would have a white rabbit in her hat!
She only had these. I had previously used these months ago, where I found them awkward and couldn't keep them in, they fell out and I dismissed them and went on to the next gadget or device without success. But now that my options were surgery which I had ruled out as I want more children or these my choices were slim!
So I persevered with these, (my physio told me I had done as much as I could do pelvic floor exercise wise, losing baby weight, cutting out caffeine, yoga etc and now needed to do weight training with my pelvic floor to improve the strength.)
So I have carried on using these twice/3 times a week and have been able to keep them in, I used the biggest with no weight first then gradually increased the weight when I could keep them in for 10 mins, I am now nearly on the heaviest weight and when I master that can move onto the small one and go through the different weights with that one. I use it when I'm in the shower or when I am putting my make up on so for about 10 mins in total and HAVE noticed an improvement.

I think it shameful for the above company to have not made it very plainly visible in the product description against using this product if you have a prolapse.

The information given above has excluded the most important fact that it cannot be used by those who have vaginal prolapse.

The advise/warning/ or contra-indications, are not given in the leaflet provided until the very last item on the back page.

If you have a prolapse, you may not be able to use this product, consult your doctor.

INCIDENTALLY, I made a similar review when I bought this, and around 19 people found it helpful. On checking through I discovered that the review has mysteriously disappeared, alongside everyone else's review. It may be perfectly innocent, but I do think it was pertinent enough to be kept visible or least sufficiently important to be included in the product description.
