This is a great little radio. The solar panel though small has no problem powering the radio for regular daily use. With the wind up function as a back-up or stand alone charging method it's a real bargain. This is the only solar product i've had that really does work.

Sound is nice. I assumed this radio could disappoint me having really tiny sound, but it's unexpectedly good for this sort of product. I'm delighted. You don't get much of the solar action, though... At least not in Liverpool, half an hour before dusk. :)
I intend to use it in Serbia and Mediterranean during hot summer days, so I guess I'll do just fine with its solar panel.
In a few words, it's fantastic for summer camping.
My rating (5/5) is based on value I've got for my money.

I thought this radio sounded like an ideal solution for my bathroom. My old shower radio had broken and I read the reviews for the Aquabourne and thought it would be just what I needed. On the plus side, it is small, portable and holds its solar charge well. On the down side, it does not tune very easily. I'm a Radio 2 listener and I find it very difficult to get a good signal for this station. However when I tune to other more local stations I get a much better signal.

good product
I bought this for my daughter, and she is very pleased with it. The only slight problem is the antenna falling off. I've sorted it with a wire hanger, which is fine!

Spend my life
At first this little radio was good, indoors, but after a week whilst working outside, it is virtually unusable.
