We bought this to be out & about in cancun/Mexican Riviera area & be spontaneous. We wanted to be able to jump in the water or snorkel or whatever we felt like w/o worrying about leaving important stuff on the beach. I bought this to fit passports especially. Turns out that we didn't need to take our passports b/c the safe in our hotel room was extremely secure. All the same, it would fit a passport. We used it for my iphone mostly instead. There is a plastic divider in the middle so there are really two pockets. We'd put my iphone in one pocket and our canon pocket camera in the other. No water got in it. None. And we had a few multi-hour water excursions and everything stayed completely dry. To be honest, it's kind of pricey. We also bought the small alligator pouch, or whatever it's called, by a cheaper company for money, credit cards, room card, etc. and nothing in that bag got wet at all either. It spent even more time in the water than the aquapac did. The aquapac seems sturdier though, less likely to tear accidentally, so I would probably still choose this pricier brand to store iphone/passport stuff.

This works great, took it snorkeling with camera stored inside and it was kept dry. It was large enough to hold a camera and wallet plus misc. smaller items.
