This is very hard for my four year old daughter to use. She loves art and Aquadoodle but couldn't produce the pattern from the roller consistently. Even I had trouble. The roller often slides on the mat instead of rolls so you can't see the intended pattern. The pens are much better (and cheaper!).

The rollers added a new creative dimension to 'Aquadoddle' activities enjoyed by our young grand daughter. We gained immense pleasure watching her enjoy unfolding colourful designs.

Obviously you need an aquadraw mat already to use this product. The rollers are a good price and are fun to use but with use the felt type material on ours has become a bit tatty you can still use it but it is not especially robust. That said it adds to the fun of the aqua mat as our little one can make patterns which he currently would not be able to do otherwise.
