Aqua Optima Double Life Water Filter Cartridge x 12 I have been using an Aqua Optima water filter jug for a couple of years now and find the system very effective. The cartridges are quite easy to replace every two months and keep the water crystal clear. We mainly use our water to make hot drinks and the filtering has made a huge difference to the amount of limescale in our kettle. We live a very hard water area and used to have to descale our kettle very frequently. Since using this system this is only needed rarely and there is never much build-up to remove. The tea made with this water is so much clearer and cleaner, it looks just like amber nectar and those annoying floating bits are no longer present. I would recommend the use of this system. It is easy to use and does just what it promises.

This filter has changed from the previous one with a larger water inlet but more important the water tastes of nothing, the previous ones had a slightly metalic after taste.
The other thing is shop around for the best price as buying in bulk can reduce the cost considerably.

Purchased these 05/05/2011 and am pretty happy with them. I was recommended the Aqua Optima Double Life Water Filter Cartridges in place of Brita water filter cartidges and honestly can't fault them. Delivery was very impressive too, arrived a couple of days after ordering.
