The first Jug that arrived had a broken lid- not sure if this was down to packaging or not. The replacement was fine. The capacity of the filter jug was one of the reasons i bought it. The other reason was that i had used brita for so long but was sick of the price of the cartridges. These cartridges are very reasonably priced. An all round winner for me. I would recommend this jug...

We have used Brita jugs in the past but found their replacement cartridges far too expensive, so decided to try this brand. The filter jug looks fine but it is too early to tell how long it will last, because it does feel a little lightweight. Cartridge was a little troublesome to fit, but this may be due to the fact it is new!

This filter jug is the best I have ever owned. It is easy to use, has a generous two litres capacity, is of a sturdy construction and best of all uses filters available from Amazon at a bargain price. No more need to buy large, heavy bottles from the supermarket, a great benefit here on the island of Lanzarote where tap water is unpleasant to drink.
