If you've been to Puglia this book is as much a photographic reminder of your visit as a cookery book. The text is both in Italian and English and the recipes are simply laid out and easy to follow. They are even graded according to their level of difficulty. Photographs are stunning but, not liking fish, I would rather there was something other than an octopus on the front cover. And I really wish that the superb pictures were captioned. Some you will recognise instantly but others beg to be identified. This would make a perfect present for those who have returned from a Puglian tour or who are setting up home there.
