I first purchased my copy of Firehorse in 2000 from a designated shop in Sutton , I have seen David play on a couple of occasions in my home town The Dreaming Suburb and I was immediately hooked.

Seven years after the last review posted here I have to say that the CD is fantastic and that Mr fisher is also a man that performs fantastically well live.

As I found out when I bought Fire Horse.

I just hope that some time in the future I shall once again see him perform his Rocky - Indie music that is so unique to him.

What a truly amazing find....i first heard David Fisher play live three years ago, and was hooked instantaneously!! Since then i have seen him play many times, and have bought everything that he's released, and NEVER been disappointed!!! There is no-one that i have played his stuff too that has dis-liked it, and to tell you all the people he's been compared to would take too long, but a couple of comparrison's i've heard are Bob Dylan and the newly acclaimed David Gray. He does have a similiar taste to D.G, including that darned head wobble!!! Skip on by and ignore this c.d if u want, but i guarantee you'll regret it. If i were you, i'd snap it up especially as amazon only have 1 copy on sale. Me, i got my copy ages ago and still love it, otherwise i'd snaffle this one...

I've had a copy of this album for a while now and every time I hear it, I love it more. The songs are stunning, and the playing is first rate. The swirl of melodic guitars are nailed by a tight rhythm section and some subtle loops and production techniques bring it right up to date. I would recommend this album to anyone.

An eclectic mix of musical styles from a song writer who is sadly being ignored by the music industry. From hard rocking tracks to thought provoking ballards, this is an artist worth a real listen. David Fisher understands fully the skill in writing lyrics, the production is excellent and this deserves far more attention!
