This text offers a comprehensive review of Mechanics topics. A fantastic study aid for both A-Level Maths/Physics students, the material also stretches to cover material for entry-level undergraduate Mechanical Engineering courses.

Applied Mechanics covers each area extensively, giving summary text in italics and providing numerous diagrams, example problems and question sets with answers.

Having studied Maths and Physics myself at A-Level I found this the perfect point to step forward from what skills I had already gained, and on into the realm of Applied Mechanics. I am using the book to improve my skills in solving mechanics problems I face in my work as a Video Game Programmer.

The only negative side to the book I have found is that perhaps many of the diagrams could have been larger, clearer or both. If it weren't for this minor issue, I would have given the book 5 stars.

Excellent book 12 Feb 2010
Format:Paperback
This is a great book for undergraduate students.
Explanation and treatment in the book makes mechanics interesting and understandable even with little background knowledge.
I congratulate authors for their great effort.
