Product turned up locked to the orange network. Still trying to establish whether it is blacklisted. Seller twice tried to arrange what I can only assume was a second payment of the amount first through paypal and secondly by cash or cheque.

The iphone three is a first class phone. I managed to buy this and the iphone four unlocked so am in a good position to compare. What can i say the reception was good and the battery life good but not great. A quick call to vodaphone and my price plan changed from a blackberry deal at 25 to a 30 pound deal with the iphone. The inclusion of a selection of apps and i had joined a new family of apple. Some three days later and the iphone four arrived. I needed a mini sim card pre ordered. The abismal battery life made me wish i could revert back to the iphone three or better still the blackberry. In retrospect as im booking nursing shifts blackberry is best and iphone three is nearly as good. I will put a pay as you go card in the iphone three and accept calls plus make calls to 0800 numbers which cost twenty pence a minute anyway and keep the iphone four in another pocket

The iPhone 3G is a solid model choice for those looking for all features of an iPhone but at a lesser cost. It has a sleek design, and if you're a fan of soft touch plastic then this is the one. Although not as sturdy, it's thinner and smoother in the hand. One problem though is the software update - the latest software runs very slowly on the phone. HOwever, if this doesn't bother you, then go for it. Great phone by the best manufacturer there is. Once you buy, you'll stick with it, trust us. Rory
