No, everything is internal, that's why I recommend going for at least the 32gb model. It's a tiny bit more but saves a huge amount of hassle

It really depends on what you require it for I and my grandchildren only need 16GB my sons youngest/eldest who are working find the (I think 32 / 64? Respectively more suitable they are both in managerial positions however I use mine all the time for many different aspects food clothes correspondence with friends and business & I find it perfectly adequate. If I may I would also say the apple shops are so helpful if you need help and unless you are likely to loose, damage it etc I have never required any coverage but that is only my opinion appertaining to my circumstances. I have yet to hear anyone here In my circle who do not love their Apple I have from Amazon bought 7 of these for my family. Go on spoil yourself Good Luck. Marie C.......

I don't think the is a difference it's just the way the info has been put on the website. The only Differences with the ipad air and other iPads 2,3 and 4 are wifi with 3G/4G connectivity or just wifi connectivity and the Storage space 16gb, 32gb, 64gb, 128gb. It wouldn't be in apples interest to have different specs in the same model. Hope this helps.
