This the one you want, first bought the cheaper Aluminium version. I got it home and was too light weight thus the suction did not hold, so I returned it, and bought this one as it stated was cast iron, this is the real deal, well made , and best of all suction works and peels with ease. Fantastic product, cannot recommend it highly enough.

I use my corer/peeler twice daily, a solid and robust piece of kit. I have yet to try potatoes on it, however I can't see that being a problem.
Though you may pay a little more for this cast iron model, to me it is worth every penny, and I would like to personally recommend it to you.

Brilliant! Excellent! Fantastic! product yes, i like it alot! Bought one for myself and one as a pressie for xmas for my dad. (await respnse!) Researched alot first and there are many cheaper ones on the market, however i am glad i took the plunge and puchased the more expensive cast iron type from mrs crumble. The suction is perfect (unlike some reviews of the cheaper brands) the weight i think helps and the quality blades are worth the few pounds extra if your going to buy one, buy this one as it will serve you better in the long run.
I dont think i will ever tire of my new toy! its great for getting kids to eat pears and apples too!
Cant reccommend enough, had to contact supplier regarding delivery found to be polite and efficient would order again from these.
