I have owned one of these bad boys for about a year and it is by far the best computer I have ever used. It is definitely expensive but strictly speaking it is not a "personal computer" it's a "workstation". It's designed to be a beast. Having said that in comparison with Windows based workstations it is very competitively priced, in fact at the time it was cheaper than the similar spec Dell XPS. Furthermore, it will last. You have the option to upgrade the RAM to a phenomenal 32GB and the motherboard supports 6TB of hard drive storage divided between four bays. If you take advantage of the 256 bit addressing by filling all of the RAM slots you will see further performance gains. Add to this two dual/quad core processors and you have a beasty machine indeed.
Did I mention you can run windows on it as well. You won't though, because OSX Leopard is an amazing operating system. One of the huge advantages nobody mentions is that it will never install software on you computer without you knowing. That means no malware, no spyware and pretty much no viruses. Everyone should own one.

If you are looking for just a standard computer id reclomend imac or mac book but if you are looking for the best specs and great software this is it!!!! Ive had a lot of computers and this is the best one ive ever used and is just bso fast but also if youre in post production then you offically know that macs are the best for that but if youre working with a group of people doing different things for example developing a game then you would need more than one computer but the mac pro runs 10 computer screens in my office and blue tooth keyboards and mouses are working on each screen so in effect its 10 computers ruuning of one and this has saved many companys 100000's of pounds as NASA do this also!!!! It just does everything that you'd expect but more and this computer is cabable of so much its been voted best computer award for 4 years running and peviois macs have allso been voted this year after year after year!!!!
