The Mighty Mouse is by far the best mouse I have used from either the Apple family or with the PCs I used to use in ealier days. Its scroll ball [more like a pip] works scrolling from left to right as well as up and down and you can configure the side 'buttons' for a number of different purposes. However, after about six months I found I could not scroll down or I could but haltingly. My answer to this was to blow air into the trackball while keeping it depressed and then to clean the trackball and mouse with a lint cloth dipped in a small amount of isopropyl alcohol. It worked a treat and now I never have any trouble with it. The side buttons are quite useful and I have mine configured to show 'spaces' or 'expose'. I higly recommend this mouse for all apple users.

Very good product. great price. Does the job for me. Limited amount of packaging, and arrived quickly. Only thing I would mention is the length of the usb wire is smaller than I wanted. This wasnt made clear, so please check before purchasing. It is smaller than the one you get with a new computer. So for my laptop I didnt feel it was long enough. I then swapped my desks top computer mouse with my laptop mouse.

I bought this second hand. The scroll ball only scrolls up and not down. Tried the cleaning methods suggested by another reviewer and no improvement. Read more

Apple Mighty Mouse
Brilliant - ergonomically beautiful and very cool.
The packaging it came in was basic to say the least!!! Almost like it had not come from Apple!
