This book is like the other dummy books in being chatty in style, which I find very irritating. The information is there if you can find it, but you have to wade through lots of waffle. Also this book repeats a lot of information from others in the series, which if you have already got them, or don't need this information, is a waste of money, paper etc. All the books in the series seem to be the same thickness and, while there is an awlful lot you can do with Apple TV, and the Apple Instruction book is at the level of how to connect and switch on (e.g. one line about using it for importing your own photos), there is a need to buy a book if you want to find out all the possibilites. I found another book much more straight forward and accessible for find the information you want to find. Its also half the size in physical dimensions and will fit into a pocket! I found the pocket guide to Apple TV much more useful. As you are probably buying without seeing the books when you buy through Amazon, if you are buying one, buy the pocket guide, unless you are addicted to the Dummies Series!
