This is a bit heavier than I expected out of the box. It feels very well made and runs quietly.
Set up a doddle if you have a Mac. Needs a bit more work with Windows like installing Airport Utility. Then you need to map network drive. After that works flawlessly. Make sure you make initial backup with ethernet. For Macs, the backup software is built in. For Windows I use a free Microsoft tool called Synch Toy. Make sure you set synch to "echo".
I also access files on the time capulse from my ipad and iphone using an App all called File Browser (£2.99 well worth it). This allows flawless access to all the synched files and also streaming of video files.
As my Macbook has limited storage I store all my video files and Apple Lossless files on the Time Capsule and import to iTunes on my Macbook. This allows the media to be accessed by Apple TV via WiFi. Works really well, probably because the WiFi of Time Capsule is very good and fast.
This is not cheap, but the ease of use makes it worth it. No brainer especially if you have a Mac.
