This is helpful, but very basic, and it's mostly a collection of web references with simple tips.

It could help you to start, but would not help against even mid-grade competition.

It would be valuable to have check lists, time sequences and basic metrics included - as a base lines for what developer needs to do.
Also, the title of the book should include the world "Android" - to make it clear who the audience is for this book.

This book covers almost all the tools and techniques used by most developers and that is why I liked it. A comprehensive kick starter for those who are wandering around to get a piece of the cake. From App store optimization (first impression is the last impression kinda stuff for Play store) to off site store optimization (getting initial reviews, press release, video, multiple App stores submission), this little book tells you all. No matter how much you invest in promoting your App, if you are not doing the right way, you are not going to gain anything out of your investment. This book can be a guide starting point for that guidance that you require. 5 stars!
