Book Description

App marketing is the missing part to success for many app developers. With thousands of apps being added daily on iStore, Google Play, and here on Amazon, how can you be sure your app will get the downloads and make the money you want it to make?

This book will reveal app marketing secrets you need in order to make your app really take off. Even though it was written from the perspective of an Android app developer, the ASO principles are actually similar and can be applied to iStore and iPhone and iPad apps and games.

Here is what this book will show you:

- How to properly set up and use your apps store
- How to choose the keywords for your ASO and what tools to use for keyword selection
- What parts of your app listing are the most important for your ranking
- How to spruce up your screenshots to make them sell
- How to write your description to entice people to download your apps
- How to market your app outside Google Play or iStore
- How to set up your app for launch
- How to get thousands of downloads outside app stores for free
- What factors you must focus on if you want your app to succeed

I want to make it clear that this app marketing book is not based on one secret method, but rather on the techniques I use before, during, and after my app launch to rank my apps in app stores and get the downloads I want. You will have to do some work to make it work. If you have the budget, even a small one, most of these marketing methods can be outsourced. Even if you do 50% of what is shown in this book, you will be doing 90% more than most other app developers do.

This book is also not about app development, programming, or how to make the best games. It is intended for people who already have an idea about an app or have even launched one or more apps or games but are not seeing the success they were hoping for.

My hope is that these app marketing techniques will help you rank your apps on the top of the stores and help you to finally get the downloads you need. Just use these methods one by one and watch your ranking soar.

3.0 out of 5 stars Very Basic info 27 Dec. 2014
By Alex Kouznetsov - Published on Amazon.com
This is helpful, but very basic, and it's mostly a collection of web references with simple tips.

It could help you to start, but would not help against even mid-grade competition.

It would be valuable to have check lists, time sequences and basic metrics included - as a base lines for what developer needs to do.
Also, the title of the book should include the world "Android" - to make it clear who the audience is for this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this book and this is why 24 May 2015

I personally use Appbrain for App optimization, Install4install for free ratings and reviews and Fiverr for the logo and banners stuff. This book covers almost all the tools and techniques used by most developers and that is why I liked it. A comprehensive kick starter for those who are wandering around to get a piece of the cake. From App store optimization (first impression is the last impression kinda stuff for Play store) to off site store optimization (getting initial reviews, press release, video, multiple App stores submission), this little book tells you all. No matter how much you invest in promoting your App, if you are not doing the right way, you are not going to gain anything out of your investment. This book can be a guide starting point for that guidance that you require. 5 stars!

This book is uniquely structured to answer my questions one by one. Right now I'm doing some writing on apps development to apps marketing and this book is a very helpful resource that you can use. Nick has presented very practical ways to strategize the marketing process and I absolutely wanted some people especially in this field, to make use of his smart ideas.

This book is a real gem! It consists of very practical information, nothing else! A must-read for everyone interested in app marketing. I've read a few books on app marketing, and this one is unique in each down-to-earth approach. Plus it's new: it's only a couple months old.
