This audio CD consists of the main events as broadcast by BBC TV during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. It covers the launch, the landing, the lift-off from the moon and the splashdown and recovery in the Pacific. It also has retrospective thoughts from Arthur C Clarke and Patrick Moore. The quality of the sound varies, as this is dependent on the sound quality of the original broadcasts! Whether you were a witness to one of mankind's most spectacular feats - or want to learn about what you missed - this is the CD for you!
