I loved this, Mary Kate was hilarious, she is married to Richard or as she thinks of him "Dick" because he is one. Every corner of her life is controlled by Richard, she is not allowed to make a decision about anything. Then on her way to the dry cleaners she picks up a hitchhiker, something her Mother told her real ladies would never do. But Mary Kate is feeling rebellious today.
This is laugh out loud funny, I was immediately drawn to Mary Kate's character and her life. The stories regarding her and her husband were brilliant. Smoothie the hitchhiker has his own tale to tell as well. The two of them set out on a journey of discovery not just of each other but of life. It was brilliant. So glad I read this.

Loved this book. So very funny, found myself laughing out loud in parts. A very fun story, cant wait for more from this author. Great escapism, you wont be disappointed :-)

Certainly made you read on, however, it just got a little bit far fetched. I felt it was rambling on and not really going anywhere. At least it had a happy ending.

My daughter raved about this but I'm afraid I was very bored by it. I tried skipping several pages in case soemthing happened but to no avail just more of the same.

hated the American spellings...but once I got over that!
