Unfortunately Amazon has a dire trait of taking reviews from different editions of books and putting them all together for all editions - and there can be huge differences between editions. None of the customer reviews here appear actually be from the revised edition - or if they are it isn't clear.
The publishers copy isn't that helpful either.
So has anyone read the revised edition and if so does the review from Eric Secker still ring true?
I am a fan of the authors Hatchepsut and admire her writing and her ability to examine the ordinary and make it interesting, but would like to know if it is new or just covers ground that has already been very well trodden?
