im a man and i think that gareth gates is the sxcest thing to arrive since hovis. im a straight even though i would like him in my pants and i would like to see how large his "purple headed sneak ferret" is.

Yet again, Gareth Gates has scored highly on releasing this, 'Anyone of Us (Stupid Mistake)' as his follow-up to the hugely successful 'Unchained Melody'. Like its predecessor, this is bound to hit the top spot when released. The difference this time, though, is that he and this song deserve to.
At last, the Pop Idol runner-up has done us a favour by releasing something original, unlike Will Young, who continued the trend of re-releasing past hits with his follow-up 'Light My Fire'. 'Anyone of Us' is a great blend of 'pop' music, with a little character to it. Each time you hear it, you just can't help singing along to it when it comes on the radio. For once, it is an original piece of writing, and although it 'borrows' from another song in the interlude (which I can't place my finger on!) it is still a really enjoyable song to listen to, and regardless of who the artist is, it deserves to hit the Number 1 spot, compared to some of the rubbish out there right now.
Whichever way you look at it, this is no doubt going to be another Number 1 for the now eighteen year old lad, who has become a pop idol to millions. I'm not one for buying singles. After all, the last single I bought was 'What's Going On', and that was only because it was in aid of an AIDS charity and the September 11th fund. However, after hearing this song, and liking it as much as I do, I no doubt will be purchasing this song when it becomes available. Well done Gareth!!!

This CD is excellent value because, not only does it have Gareth's new smash hit 'Anyone of Us', it also has another brilliant track 'forever Blue' which is every bit as good-this could have been another number one if it had been released separately. There is also a video for your computer, and so, for a person who doesn't usually buy singles much, I am well pleased with the content of it.
I bought Gareth's first number one 'Unchained Melody' and was really pleased for him that this topped the charts but I was just a tiny bit disappointed with his first recording-I didn't feel it was the best I had heard from Gareth in comparison with his excellent performances on Pop Idol. This track IS superlative: it's a fresh, new track, really catchy, I loved it the first time I heard it and I haven't tired of it. I feel the balance of volumes is right on this track ( unchained melody seemed a bit accompanyment heavy). I love the melody and the soaring key change. The bonus track was a wonderful surprise, this wasn't just a 'filler' it is also a very polished performance of a haunting song which suits his voice so well. I can't wait for his first album.
