There are some criminals who always manage to evade justice. Untouchable, they know the legal system and they know how to play it, exploiting its flaws and capitalizing on its weaknesses. In short, they are just too clever to get caught. But they are still the bad guys and they need to be taken off the streets... By Any Means follows a clandestine department living on the edge and playing the criminal elite at their own game, existing in the grey area between the letter of the law and true justice. Led by the sharp and elusive Jack Quinn, alongside straight-talking Jessica Jones, digital whizz-kid Thomas Tomkins and ex-copper Charlie O'Brien, they stop at nothing to get the job done. Receiving their target from the mysterious Helen Barlow, they weave a web of cunning and deception to deliver their unwary targets into the arms of justice.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant! 31 Dec 2013
Format:DVD
Enjoyed this series more than anything else I watched in 2013, and the final episode was a classic! Can't believe this is not going to be available on DVD until September 2014.
Fingers crossed there will be a 2nd. series before too long.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loving it!! 16 Oct 2013

Been watching this series on BBC and it's amazing! The format is similar to Hustle, and was created by the same writer Tony Jacklin. Unlike other police drama's, this one has a breath of fresh air that is refreshing.

It is enjoyable to watch, and even though the current series is coming to and end soon I am hoping for many more in the future and I will deffo be buying this DVD as soon as it's released!!

5.0 out of 5 stars By Any Means 8 Nov 2013

Format:DVD
From the creators of Hustle, By Any Means is a fantastic, escapism tv drama, with the excellent Warren Brown, head of the team, Stunning Shelley Conn, brains & beauty & Andrew Lee-Potts the geeky but computer whizz kid makes a strong cast who bounce off each others efforts. Hopefully a second series will be commissioned ? By Any Means is worth watching & owning on dvd, sheer Joy !!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars By Any Means 16 Feb 2014

One of the greatest dramas I have ever seen. Fantastic cast of Shelley Conn, Andrew, Lee Potts, Warren Brown, Elliott King and Gina McKee. Programmes cleverly choreographed by the same makers of and same way as Hustle. Final episode has one of the most shocking scenes of extreme violence I have ever seen on television, so watch with caution, if of a nervous disposition. Great programme.
