His public sculpture projects, such as the "Angel of the North", have continued to grow in scale and ambition, as well as popularity. This book is published to coincide with a major solo exhibition of his work at SITE Santa Fe in New Mexico in November 2000, and on tour in the US in 2002. Fully revised and expanded, this edition has 52 extra pages documenting new work from 1995-2000, including a new update essay, new artist's writings and an expanded chronology.

Format:Paperback

Antony Gormley is a sculptor who experiments with materials and ways of seeing the human form. His medium base is very diverse and this book has works that are excellent examples of his installations. If you are interested in the figurative arts but not necessarily representational figurative, this is a wonderful addition to a book collection.
