The author recommended this book to me as I had shown interest in my father's regiment during WW1. It is such a good read. The kind of short articles you can pick up at any time and read a few, then put it down for another time. It is in a beautiful hard back cover and looks expensive.
I can recommend it to anybody interested in WW1 from the families' point of view.

Book arrived before date given, well packed and in excellent condition. Very pleased with book, a good balance of pictures to text for subject. Individual stories well presented with a very personal bias. Exactly what I wanted.

This book was mentioned on a recent BBC Antiques Roadshow.
Very apt for the remembrance of The Great War, WW1.
It is a "dip in" book, which will prove interesting for different generations.
