Good book. I wish that it had a bit more about pottery etc and less about gold and silver as I bought it with a hallmark book as suggested - so the other was not really necessary.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not much more than the Collins Gem 24 Mar 2011
Format:Paperback
I already have the Collins Gem Antique Marks and bought this thinking it would have more in it about china marks. However, apart from a few pages of text, there is little more in here than you would find in the Collins Gem so don't bother if you already have the latter.
This is also less handy for carrying to car boots etc than the gem book.

This is a good little book showing hallmarks, but does not show the latest hallmarks if you have purchased jewellery recently and wanted to know where it was made.

I chose this book because I needed something concise to carry with me on finding sessions for my hobby. It's a very informative book and in the price range of most peoples pocket.

I would certainly recommend Amazon as. First place to try before going elsewhere
