I collect antique jewellery and this book has information I have had difficulty finding, or not found, elsewhere. About the only book of it's type and you wouldn't regret buying it. The historical information, drawings, tables and pictures are very helpful. I wish it was even more indepth. How about a new expanded edition? 4.5 of 5

Most Excellent Resource! 18 Jan 2000

An Absolutely wonderful resource, that is concise, and well laid out by catagory. Easy to use and contains superbly informative illustrations. I will continue to use this wealth of information as a guide. I can't believe the large amount of information contained in one small volume! Gives credence to the phrase that "good things come in a small package"! Changed a novice collector into a more informed treasure hunter!
