Once again, the authors have produced yet another gorgeous book on Jelly Rolls. This time they have used the idea of reproducing the antique quilts in their collection and created alternative and similar versions using the beautiful jelly rolls that are available to us now - a super idea, particularly if you are looking to produce a future heirloom quilt using traditional patchwork patterns.
The book is clearly laid out and instructions look very easy to follow, although I haven't yet tried them out. There is detailed information given on the history of each of the antique quilts which I have found interesting and informative and the beautiful picture shots make this a joy to read.
All of the Jelly Roll books by these authors are amazingly good value and are well worth adding to your collection of quilt books. Highly recommended

Well written nice designs showing an heirloom quilt and a modern version of it. Designed to be made from jelly rolls although instructions are there for cutting your own. I have made a couple of these and plan to make the tumbling blocks as well, the instructions were easy to follow and the designs worked out well

Good book on jelly rolls. Several of the quilts were very attractive and the book was worth it for those, which I will make. Quite a lot I won't make as rather boring! Book worth it hough

again, another great book by Pam and Nicky which I would recommend to all patch workers and quilters, especially those like me whose fingers have stiffened up a little with age and find sewing by hand with needle and thread difficult.
The instructions are very easy to follow, even for beginners and the photographs just make you want to 'have a go'
