Does the job 12 Jun 2010
This worked for me, I was getting no digital signal on some channels and interrupted signal on others, after installing this I get everything bar a few glitches every now and then which can be expected considering what I was getting before, very happy with this product.

This is really an excellent product. I couldn't get some channels at all and was having a lot of picture break up especially on Yesterday and Film 4. This product is very easy to fit and took me less than a minute. It does exactly what it say's it will do and now I have perfect reception on all channels. I thoroughly recommend this product! A+

In the summer my TV reception goes to pot. After reading a few reviews I decided to buy the A1100R, but was wary if it would work. In context, many reviews of alternative products also state they have problems, so it was a case of suck it and see.

I don't have the option of getting near the aerial as I live in a ground floor flat in a 4 storey building, so couldn't install anything near the mast, which seems to be the most adviseable way of achieving an improved signal, so needed something I could plug in near the TV, which the Antiference does plus it offered a wide frequency range in comparison with others I'd looked at.

My set up is a Humax HDR-Fox T2 Freeview box running into a Philips 56" TV. I don't know if either of these items have an increased effect on the reduced reception (both are new since last summer), but I lost all HD channels, ITV2, all the Channel 4 broadcasts to a greater or lesser extent, Five, and sometimes ITV1. Once I plugged in the A1100R the effect was instant and all channels I'd previously had were restored.

My concern, from reading some reviews, is how long it lasts, but even if it's only a couple of years, it's not an expensive product and I'd have had good use from it.

I may have missed it in the specification on Amazon but there was no inclusion of a co-axial extension lead with 2 male connectors. I notice it is a suggested item to purchase on the Amazon product page, but I often find many of the items suggested aren't required! Fortunately, I had a spare one at home, but it is worth noting if you choose to buy this product.

Useless item and a waste of £13. Some TV channels had a very poor signal so I bought this thinking it would boost the signal as that is what this item is supposed to do. Read more

Maybe if this item worked I might of given it a 3 star, but I am getting nothing from it. To be honest I could of easily given it a 1.

No digital signal at all at home and got fed up of climbing up and down a ladder to adjust the aerial direction. Couldn't even begin to search for digital channels. Read more

Worst product I've ever brought from Amazon.
I brought this to replace a Philex signal booster that had given up the ghost. It was a good little signal booster and picked up most of the channels most of the time. Read more

Made signal worse
Tv signal is better without this amplifier. It's unclear whether it is just the area I am in or this amplifier is just of no help. In my case, a waste of money.
