This album is a great introduction to anyone wanting to delve into the hip-hop genre. Moving far away from the cliched mainstream gangsta rap, this album is full of intelligent social critiques, that are well produced and sound great. Lots of melodic, heavy beats that are sometimes slow and engaging, but at other times energetic and banging. A brilliaint mix of tunes.
My only problem with this album is that it only offers samples. Odd Nosdam's track 'eat:chew' is amazing, but the sample is just over a minute long.
Nonetheless, if you're interested in hip-hop this a perfect place to start.
