This is a really good question, thanks for the post. The tablet doesn't come pre-installed with an anti-virus program, however there are a plethora available on Google Play.
I'll be honest, I don't really know a huge amount about anti-virus programs or which ones are better than others, however I've downloaded "Avast! Mobile Security" and "Lookout Security and Antivirus". Both have had a great number of downloads and are highly rated. The Avast one seems to be more akin to Antivirus software packages I'm used too, however they both seem to do the job well. Most importantly, they are both free.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Hi Gary Thankyou for answer to the anti virus query. I have a couple questions to ask you, if its ok with you. Would you know how the battery performs ie. surfing, video etc. & how long too charge it up. Would it except any dongle, and would it work with tethering a phone to it. I also noticed on your web site the tablet is called the GTR M0095, not the ployer momo9 moo95. Is yours the same tablet with the same spec, or different. I hope you don't mind replying to these queries. Thanks
The Momo9 comes with a 4200mAh battery which, for it's size, is a really good size battery. Approx battery life is as follows: Video Playing: 7 hours (Standard video - HD will be less) Music playing: 15 hours (Earphone) Network browsing: 5 hours
In terms of general use I would probably put battery life in the 6 - 9 hour mark. It's dependant on WIFI usage, HD content, games etc... In terms of charging up I believe it takes approx 3 hours to get up to a full charge. For 3G dongle settings, click on settings, and then click on the 'more' option under the Wireless and Networks section at the top (its the third menu down). In here you'll see a menu titled 3G Support Information. Ployer have kindly pre-listed 3G dongles that are compatible, however I know for a fact that this isn't exhaustive as I've had a few customers comment that they Huawei E535 works ok. I must admit I don't know the full breadth of 3G compatibility with the device, however I'm confident the majority will work. If anyone reading this has any other info around 3G coverage with the device please feel free to list.
The GTR M009S is a similar device, however has a slightly lower spec than the Momo9. In terms of similarities it runs the same 4.0.3 ROM; has a 5 point touch capacitive screen; runs the powerful A10 1.2Ghz CPU. In terms of differences, it doesn't have a separate GPU (Mali 400 in the Momo9 case), comes with 4GB internal memory and is lighter to hold. It's a slightly slower unit due to the missing GPU, however for an entry level Android 4.0.3 Tablet it can certainly do everything you would want. It's a completely different Tablet.
Hope this this, be sure to get in touch if there's anything further I can help with.
