Format:Audio CD
Disc 1 has a bunch of blistering Organ powered grooves. If you're into the great Jimmy McGriff, Jimmy Smith and those Blue Juice compilations then you'll love it. Disc two covers the Jazz Funk years, with stellar musicians like Freddie Hubbard, Joe Henderson,
and Marcus Miller among others. Soul Brother are really to be commended for putting this wonderful compilation together.

Both discs are very good. I see the first disc as the roots of the second. Disc 1 has more serious jazz tunes compared to disc 2 which has a more Jazz funk (fusion) club feel. All of it very good. Fans of DJ Robbie Vincent of Radio London (over 30 years ago) should be happy with this CD.

Charles Earland anthology is a tale of two cds.
Disc 1 being dull, un inspired and mediocre, However disc 2 Jazz/funk and beyond had me bopping around the room to "over and over" "let the music play" and "comin to you live" all 80s jazz/funk classics in there own right.
(shame bout disc 1 though)
However if your jazz/funk hardcore like me ? I got it for disc 2
