Please, read this review before you buy the lanboard.
For over a year I've searched high and low for a stand like this to keep my antec 1200 off the carpet in my office. Finally I stumbled upon this, and after checking the size specs, checking out the positive reviews on the net, and confirming the maximum weight allowance I promptly ordered, and was promptly dissatisfied.
The board came today and as soon as I got it out I knew just by feeling the plastic that it couldn't hold my pc. My case is a full tower, and while it isn't super long or extremely wide (actually the feet of the case fit perfectly on the board) it is a bit heavy at 60lbs fully loaded. I didn't think this would ever be an issue for something rated to hold 136lbs, but the lanboard bows so far up in the middle when I set the pc on it that the rubber case feet start to slide off. The straps don't help either since the board is bowing UP toward the case in the middle to begin with. In addition, the straps themselves have a nasty habit of crossing right over the side intake fan, and the top exhaust fan, partially obstructing airflow, on two of my three Antec cases, which is a strange oversight given that one company made all of them. So now it goes into the closet until I find a use for it.
So why one star? At the most I'd say this case could hold a mid-tower weighing in at 30lbs or under, which is simply unacceptable for a product advertised to hold so much more than that. In addition, if you plan to use this product for its intended purpose of hauling your computer to and from LAN events, its inability to support heavier cases means you probably won't need it anyway. Overall its an excellent idea that fell flat in the face of poor construction.
