This case is truly amazing value for the money. It has 9 expansion slots, the best cable management I've seen and enough fans to cool the hottest system.
I built my gaming rig using this case along with an AMD 8 core processor, 32gb ram, SSD, ASUS motherboard, ASUS Nvidea graphics cards, Arctic Cooling memory fan cooler/heat spreaders etc.... amongst over good things.
TOTAL FAN COUNT: 17!!! (8 case, 2 cpu cooling, 4 graphics cooling, 1 power supply and 2 memory cooling) all case fans are Antec true quiet 120mm rubber mount fans apart from top 200mm unit.
I'm amazed how quiet the system is with the fans all on low speed settings. The case is well filtered on air intakes (2 front and 1 power supply). So your PSU has a cool air intake.
The side window and rear cpu cooling optional fan mounting areas I would use as fan exhausts as there are no filterers fitted.
I also installed an Antec kuhler 920 cpu water cooler. I never see any higher temps above 34 degrees centigrade gaming.
I built another system for a friend using an Antec 1200 case/Antec kuhler 920, and found the 1100 case to be far better, with more user friendly engineering built in and a more modern minimal design.
IF YOU REQUIRE A FULL SIZED ATX CASE......I WOULD RECOMMEND THE NZXT 810, as this is in the 1200's price bracket but is a more modern design and is engineered for far superior cooling either air or water. The water cooling potential is vast for all those gamers and overclockers out there.

1100's good points:

1) better built features
2) better side cooling
3) cooling for the rear of the cpu area.

Firstly I like to say, it didn't come with instructions as to which screws are used for but for someone like myself who knows from experience, that's not much of problem and had to guess the big screws are for mounting 120mm fans to the side panel, I'm only thinking people that have little or no experience at building computers. I chose this case mainly because of the PSU being install in the bottom of the case. I installed all parts into this case with no trouble at all, must say the I/O plate took some persuasion to fit.

really like this case for large open space inside the motherboard side, good case for people that like water cooling, (I like air cooling personally) very good cable management in the right side (where the hard drives are installed from) as it comes with lots of cable ties and there's plenty of places to hide the excess cabling should you need to (for example none modular power supplies) even with all fans running at full, it is still very quiet, my brother was chuffed to bit's when it was finished.

I'm happy to recommend the Antec 1100 case to family and friends or to anyone looking to build there next PC or want to transfer they're current hardware to a new tower.

i bought this case with no hesitation on amazon at release and it was received in good condition. it has helped make my pc cooler no question especially the graphics cards in sli which are close together on the motherboard, so overall i'm very happy with this case i currently have 8 fans inside with space for one more, it comes with 2 already installed.

I bought this case as an upgrade from a cheap mid-tower case and I have to say it is truly amazing.

It has plenty of space for large CPU coolers (I currently have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO in it) and has a lot of expansion slots for Additional case fans (The case comes with a large 200mm fan on the top which has blue LED's that can be turned on/off and a 120mm fan on the back).

Only thing I could complain about is that the molex power connector for the 2 Pre-installed fans is a little too far away from the power pack and thus my power pack wires were not long enough to reach the connector. Luckily I had a molex splitter wire lying around so I used that as an extension wire.

Update: Antec offered to send me a fan without me sending mine back :-), but wouldn't do so unless I sent them a picture of the old fan with a blade broken off :-(. Indignant at this lack of trust in me, I sent them a video of the fan with the rattle obvious in the sound track. This was conveniently ignored, so eventually, I had to give in and try to break a fan blade. The plastic was tough, but I managed to bend one without cutting my hands. This did the trick, and I now have a replacement fan. Its not the same fan, and needed a different power connector, but its quiet. I think they have a design problem in that the stock fans are not designed to run upside-down.
Moral: When buying an ANTEC case, power the fans up first before building your PC. Any problems, don't bother with Antec support, they are bureaucratic and awkward, send the whole thing back to Amazon.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Update: 1 month on, Antec Europe have finally responded. Now I have to re-send all documentation and await an RMA no. Then I have to send the £15 fan back at my own expense before they will send a replacement. I should have stripped the PC and sent the case back to Amazon.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Update: Antec Global have passed me to Antec Europe twice now, and twice I have been ignored. Down to 1 star.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Update: Antec have requested details and offered to replace the fan. Up to 3 stars.
I have two of these cases already, and they are fine. This one arrived with a rattling top 200mm fan. Supporting the hub of the fan blades stops the rattling.
Only found out after building my whole PC.
Tried asking Antec for a replacement fan, but no reply after three days and counting.
