Book Description

6 Oct 2011 Antares
After the failure of the Betelgeuse colonisation mission, Kim is back on Earth, where she is an increasingly popular figure. Meanwhile, advance scouts on planet Antares have witnessed some distressingly strange events. Worried about the future of this new mission, the sponsors of the Antares project call upon Kim to accompany the first colonists, offering legal amnesty for Alexa and Mark in exchange. It's the beginning of a new adventure for the young woman and her friends.

5.0 out of 5 stars An amazing experience 7 Nov 2011

The first graphic novel in the Antares cycle by Leo is amazing and well worth the purchase. In my view the Aldebaran, Betelgeuse and Antares comics are among the best sci-fi graphic novels ever written in terms of quality of the pictures, the speed and intensity of the storyline.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great read 12 Nov 2011

The story started with the Aldebaran series, then followed by Betelgeuse, and now continues with Antares. I've enjoyed these books because they combine strange worlds and sci fi concepts with simple stories of human endeavors and loves lost and gained. I really like it although I must say that I'm sure Kim's breasts get bigger with each episode - the artist is certainly enjoying his work here!

1.0 out of 5 stars Same old story...for the 3rd time! 1 Jun 2012
By Ammc
Format:Paperback
This is the third sci-fi series from Leo after Aldebaran and Beltegeuse and I think Leo knows only one storyline and keeps repeating it accross books:

Once again we have a small group of humans on a hostile planet with the men forming a society that oppress women and/or treat them like reproductive cows.

Once again we have every single male in the story falling in love with Kim (please!)

Once again we have Kim and a group of people getting stranded in a forest/swamp/river/whatever full or weird dangerous creatures.

Etc...I'm yawning, are you?
