Format:Audio CD
Excellent EP - if you like their previous albums you'll like this. If you were a little disappointed with their venturing into rock territory on albums such as 'war stories' then you'll be pleased to know that more electronic elements are present here. Every song is decent with three that are superb - 'The answer' in particular is very groovy, and the second and fifth track are standout tunes as well.
However if you want a straightforward dance album and are not familiar with UNKLE then this may not be for you, they have one foot in an indie-ish rocky-ish instrumental sound and are not party vibesters like The Qemists/Pendulum/The Prodigy etc

The answer to where did the night fall.

"The Answer" is a 6 track EP by UK Electronic Dance act Unkle. There are 4 tracks which originally appeared on their album "Where did the night fall" which came out earlier this year; "The answer (featuring Big In Japan (Baltimore)", "The runaway: Lupe's revenge (Lupe Fiasco vs Unkle reconstruction)" (this features raps by Fiasco and originally was "The runaway" featuring Elle J), "Heavy drug (Reprise)", and the Tim Goldsworthy remix of "Follow me down" which fleshes up the more sublime original while stripping the vocals by Sleepy Sun.
The other tracks are new; the dreamy "Seperate half" (featuring Lumeruans with Tebecca Coseboom, busy percussion and nice rumbling guitars), and the haunting acoustic "Country tune" (featuring Gavin Clark).
