Everything you would expect from Dr Evans 5 Dec 2011
By Jay Matthews - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
If you are familiar with Dr. Evans' work, this short book will be no surprise. It is a lucid, concise introduction to the life and thought of Anselm of Canterbury, and it is filled with the insightful and balanced critiques that are common to all of Dr. Evans' writings on the medieval church. This book is a great foundation for those who are just starting to study Anselm or need a quick introduction to his major theological contributions.
